3rd & 4th May - Bowls Big Weekend
If you’ve never tried bowls before and are curious to give it a go, the Big Bowls Weekend is the perfect opportunity! Taking place on Sunday, May 3rd, and Monday, May 4th, from 10:30 am to 1 pm, this event welcomes everyone to come and enjoy the game in a friendly, relaxed setting.
All you need to bring are flat-soled shoes for safety and comfort on the green, along with your best smile and enthusiasm. We will provide all the necessary equipment, so there’s no need to worry about having your own gear.
This is a drop-in event, so you can simply turn up at any time during the session without prior booking. It’s a great chance to meet other newcomers and club members, learn the basics of bowls, and have some fun.
Quiz Nights
Another successful season of quiz nights has come to an end, leaving just one question: have you registered your team for next season, which begins in October? To secure your spot or to find out more details, please contact our Quiz Coordinator, Peter Gale. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your team’s participation in the upcoming season’s fun and challenging quizzes.
Skittles League
The skittles league and knockout competitions have wrapped up for this season, but it’s never too early to start thinking about next season, kicking off in October. We’d love for all interested players to sign up soon so we can smoothly plan the fixtures and schedule games through next April.
