Ladies Team

"Congratulations" to Jean Chudley and Jenny Dawson who have qualified for the National over 55's Pairs Finals at Leamington Spa to be played on 13th August.
They beat J Moore & W Barnard at Brixham on Friday 9th July.

Men's Team

The men have a League & Trophy game away to Okehampton on Thursday 29th July.

Maurice Brooks wanted it mentioned that he picked up a 12 in Sundays 96 shots competition against Gary Howland!!
The final will be between Pete Gale and Lee Phillips on the the Club Finals Weekend.

Friday Triples League

The last Friday Triples League games during July is on Friday 30th.
Come along for a drink and the raffle afterwards.

"LOCAL" Fish and Chips will be available after every Friday Triples League game. Orders will be taken before the game and be ready when it finishes.

Following my initial letters to everyone about a possible Club Tour in October 2011 we now
have 30 people interested so I will continue to make the arrangements. The majority would like to go to Portugal so this will be our destination and we will be hopefully be staying in the 4* Hotel Jupiter in Praia da Rocha, Portugal.


Prices were quoted on a minimum of 24 people and the cost of the trip, although not definite, should be in the region of £529 per person for a twin bedded room half board – single room will be around £578. There is also a reduction on the price for non bowlers.

I will write to those who have shown an interest shortly. If any one else would like to be included please get in touch with me. From past experience these Club trips away are great fun and really enjoyable.

In order to confirm the booking a deposit will be required from everyone of £175 each.
